A Smarter Kind of Lappie.

Los Lappies are premium reusable cloths made from natural plant fibres. They’re thoughtfully created to replace single-use paper towels and plastic-based cloths with something better performing, beautifully practical and genuinely zero waste.

Made from 70% sustainably sourced wood cellulose + 30% cotton waste. Cotton waste means leftover cotton fibres and by-products from textile production that would otherwise go unused.

Always use damp and rinse well after use. Air-dry between uses and machine wash for a deeper clean. You can also pop the los lappies in the dishwasher top rack. With proper care, they can last up to 9 months, or until worn thin. Once they've reached the end of their cleaning life, pop them in the compost to return to the soil.

These Los Lappies come in a set of 2.

A compost idea...

First: use it until it has earned retirement

A los lappie is not single-use. With proper care, it can last up to 9 months, or until worn thin. That means many months of wiping, rinsing, drying, washing and repeating before you even think about composting it.

How do you know it is time?

It might feel thinner, softer or less structured. The print may have faded. It may no longer absorb or wipe the way it used to. That is your sign that it has finished its main cleaning life.

Step 1: Give it a final wash

Wash your lappie before composting, especially if it has been used with cleaning products. A simple machine wash or dishwasher top rack clean is enough for OG and XL lappies.

Step 2: Cut it into smaller pieces

Cutting it up helps it break down more easily. Smaller pieces give your compost more surface area to work with.

Step 3: Add it to your compost

Add the pieces to your home compost or garden waste system. Mix them in rather than leaving them in a clump on top.

Step 4: Let the cycle do its thing

Composting takes time and depends on moisture, heat, airflow and what else is in the compost. Treat your lappie like part of a bigger compost system, not magic disappearing paper.

Why this matters

Many products are marketed as sustainable while ignoring what happens at the end. los lappies are designed for the full journey: natural plant fibres, months of use, then compost once worn thin.
